Club Welfare
As an affiliated club of British Cycling that has under 18s or vulnerable adults as members or participants in our activities, we are required to appoint a Club Welfare Officer. The Club Welfare Officer (CWO) is the designated person for any safeguarding/child protection issues.
Our CWO is responsible for raising welfare issues at club meetings and activities and is the point of contact for anyone with any welfare concerns. This may range from serious issues such as abuse or neglect, to more sport specific aspects such as a race or activity being too demanding for certain participants.
Our CWO has had a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check administered by British Cycling and has undertaken appropraite Safeguarding training. Click here to contact or learn more about our CWO.
COVID
No restrictions, all club activities are running normally. Personal responsibility applies: COVID hasn't gone away, so please act responsibly, respect others and take care.
