Youth Membership
We have different activities designed to introduce children and young people (under 18s) to road cycling, off road cycling and track cycling and to develop their cycling skills. This also helps prepare them for racing competitions should they choose to try this.
Youth memberships are available to riders that meet the riding requirements listed below and are under 18 on the 1st January. To join a Youth member an adult must complete the joining process.
Youth memberships cost £6 per calendar year. Please note there are additional session and event costs.
Before joining the youth rider should:
- Be a confident bike rider e.g. have successfully completed a Bikeability course or similar. This is essential.
- Be able to ride for 1-2 hours on a single bike ride.
- Have a suitable and safe bike and the right cycling kit. This is essential, in particular you must wear a well fitted cycle helmet.
For each youth rider a Parental Consent form must be completed by their parent/guardian. If at any point you would like to talk to us, please contact our Youth Development Secretary,
