In December 2016, Verulam CC formed a racing team to provide the infrastructure and team support to nurture and grow talented riders. We have a particular goal of developing our youth riders and supporting them through their racing journey. This team is based in St Albans and since early 2017 has been competing successfully in mens and womens regional, national and international events, at all ages from youths through to masters.

Verulam Reallymoving racing team is delighted that our four existing sponsors; cycling club Verulam CC, house-moving price comparison site, cafe/professional workship SpokeCyclesCC and electrical and fire specialists Whitton Electrical have all announced that they will be continuing to support the team in 2024.

The Racing Team has regular coached team rides and has organised training camps including trips to Spain and Belgium. We also have social rides, particularly to our favourite coffee shop Spoke Cycles CC in Codicote.

This team represents Verulam CC, club members & fellow cyclists, and our sponsors, putting something back into the sport and in particular, creating a pathway for the next generation.

We feel great pride seeing our riders achieving success in the racing world and knowing that all the support of the club and our sponsors has played a key part in making it happen.
