Sunday Youth Road Ride.

Please contact our This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., Davinder before turning up to a Sunday Ride! All new youth riders need to complete an inductory ride and assessment.

The routine is for departure at 9,00am with a coffee stop at 10.15am and to be back by midday. Basic requirements

  1. Riders must be self-sufficient on the roads (typcally age 12+) have a proper road bike, suitable kit, a cycling helmet and adequate fitness for a 40-50 mile ride averaging 15 mph.
  2. All riders must be VCC members and have British Cycling membership/third party insurance. VCC Club membership: We need a record of the riders for emergency contact details etc.
  3. Please also note that we have a mudguard policy over the winter. We won't turn you away if you haven't got this sorted straightaway, but we ask for riders to have the rear wheel covered to a level below the axel to avoid spraying riders behind. There are plenty of options (Race Guard and Crud2). Shout if you need advice. Please see information here.

Teamer App
Now this is really important! We use Teamer to know who will attend a session and ensure we have enough coaches on the day.
If you have not done so already Please register with Teamer and join the VCC Youth Development Team!!
Please let me know if you are not invited, have not seen any details or are having technical difficulties. See here.
