Our aim is to help any members who want to help themselves to achieve new cycling goals.
How do you want to become a better cyclist?

- Are you looking to ride stronger and move up a group in the Sunday Club runs?
We offer coaching & development activities throughout the year suitable for all members to help them become better riders or to achieve specific goals.
Rider Development (TBC)
Overview
Our investment in rider development has at its heart the goal of appealling to a broad range of rider groups with a range of activities managedby our coaches.
Activities:
- Skills Development
Target Groups: Group 1: Intros to Inters+
Group 2: Mods to Fast+
Group 3: Juniors
Activity: 1) Safety briefing and session overview
2) Warm up / circuit familiarisation
3) Skills sessions: Balance, braking, cornering, contact, tight group riding, surviving pot holes etc.
4) Efforts: Group riding (in a line and in a chain), intervals (group to group or bell & whistle)
5) Fun races: Team pursuit, devil, handicap

Target Groups: Intros through to Inters+
Activity: Practical coaching on basic skills (cornering, manoeuvring, braking)
Venue: St Columbas School, St Albans
Dates: Saturday mornings TBC
- Skills & Fitness
Target Groups: Intros/Inters/Inters+
Activity: Chain-gang (Group riding skills & fitness development)
Leaders: TBC
Venue: Meet at Waitrose overflow Car Park, Mayne Avenue
Dates/Time: Every Wednesday from 12th May to 10th August (subject to attendance) meet at 19.00 for 19.15 start. TBC.

Target Groups: Group 1: Mods/Mod+
Group 2: Rapides/Fast
Leaders: Various
Activity: Chain-gang (Group riding skills & fitness development)
Venue: Meet on Codicote - Hitchin Road at entrance to old Wyvale GC
Dates/time: Every Wednesday from 12th May to 10th August, meet up at 19.30. TBC.
