My Cycling Story
I joined VCC around 2015, though I grew up cycling and had been cycling regularly as an adult since I moved to St Albans in 2003. My main reason for joining a club was that I was really interested in racing, and I hoped to find some people who could help and guide me (and help me get stronger). I've been the ladies representative on the Race Team since its inception and have raced, road, crit, TT's and cyclocross over the years.... but most of all I just like riding my bike!
My Role
I was the ladies rep on the committee before we formed the Verulam Race Team and I'm excited to take on the role again. There are a lot more females in the club now and I hope that we can build a supportive, welcoming, community where we can inspire each other and share our love of cycling.
More About Me
I've regularly participated in Club rides and other club activities, as well as many cycling events organised by other organisations. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience.
